Kid zoo opened doors in 1984 with the objective of providing a safe, loving and educational environment where children learn to socialize and grow while having fun. Today, that objective is still being met.
Offering full-time and after school programs for ages 6 weeks up to 12 years old, Kid zoo is still operated by a former Charlotte-Mecklenburg school teacher and employees are considered through referrals only. Daily activities and lessons based on age are developed and continually reinvented to keep children engaged and entertained. Indoor facilities are outfitted with separate rooms for different age groups with varieties of activity stations and toys as well as a full kitchen where nutritious meals are prepared daily. Outdoor gated areas with turf grass and sun shelter are equipped with jungle gyms and toys that promote physical activity.
Kid zoo stands out from the rest with proven satisfaction from both parents and children.
Our main entry points are based on two programs, each building upon the other. Early child development ages six weeks to three years and Pre-kindergarten ages four and five.
Openings in these programs are solely based on attrition and candidates may be contacted for an interview and tour on a rolling basis throughout the year if spaces become available.
